Counting Lesson

And what did I learn today?

I learned that, to my children:

Seven is old enough not to have to eat squash anymore.

Ten is “grown.”

Thirteen is “teen.”

Eighteen is “adult,” although you’re also still a “teen.” And,

Twenty-four, twenty-five is “elderly.”

Sigh.
